BEACH SESSIONS

Held in our stunning fitness facility, offering fresh air, stunning views and the occasional seagull, these sessions are not only a great workout but an experience definitely worth getting sandy for.

See you on the sand. All are welcome. 

All sessions are designed for all level of abilities to be able to train side by side. 
Every workout can be modified/scaled for you to get the most out of your time with us.

We meet on Woolacombe main beach, 
past Mill Rock. 
Look for the coaches wearing bright orange. You can't miss us.

WHAT TO EXPECT at a jerk session


Please arrive 10 mins before 
the session start time where you will be greeted with a warm welcome from the Jerk family.

Wear suitable footwear, clothing 
and bring a drink.

All sessions are designed to be 
wrapped up within 1 hour.

Within this time we will go through a warm up, main session & cool down.

In bodyweight sessions there will most likely be burpees, squats, push ups as well as other functional fitness movements you may be used to and a potentially a few new ones too. 
Throw into the mix running on the sand & sand dunes and there you have a Jerk training session!

All sessions are designed to individually push you all within a positive and encouraging environment.  You can modify, scale and rest as you need to. We will be there to help every step of the way.

WHERE ARE THE SESSIONS?
Woolacombe Beach, just past Mill Rock

HOW DO I GET THERE?
Head onto the beach at the Slipway by Surfing Woolacombe and the Blue Bayou Coffee stop.
Go over the bridge and walk along 400m to the rocks. We'll be the other side.

HOW MUCH IS IT?
£9.50 per person.

WHO ARE THESE FOR?
The sessions are for everyone and can be adapted. Some level of fitness will mean you have a more "enjoyable" time with us but we will look after everyone no matter where they are on their fitness journey.

WHAT IS THE SESSION?
The session is a bodyweight and cardio based session with the additional element of training on the sand.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
 No sorry, It's best you don't so you can focus on the session.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?
Everyone involved in the classes must be over 18.

IS THERE A NUMBER LIMIT TO PARTICIPANTS?
No. The space on the beach allows as many people to participate as would like to.

HOW BUSY ARE THE SESSIONS?
The numbers are generally small in these groups allowing for a great experience.

DO I REALLY NEED TO FILL IN THE ATHLETE FORM FOR ONE SESSION?
Yes you do. Without this filled in you cannot start the session.

IS IT FUN?
We think so! You will get out of it what you put into it and we will be there to help along the way. 

DOES THE SESSION INVOLVE GOING IN THE WATER?
No, the session will take place on land at all times.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
There are multiple parking options in the village.
Marine Drive charges a daily rate.
Parkins run two car parks in the centre of the village.
Parking is available on the Esplanade charged per hour.
There is limited parking in the village allowing for up to 1 hour parking with no return within 2 hours. This starts at 10am.
